Ask Developments: First Street Manchester – Visit the site
Why they came to us
Ask Developments are based in Manchester and a formidable name in multi-partner developments. The portfolio comprises of 20 separate projects generating an end value of almost £2 billion.
Their development, Number One First Street is the first major pedestrian thoroughfare in Manchester for many decades, spanning across 20 acres.
Ask Developments required a large scale and flexible website to promote Number One First Street as its flagship development, showcasing the development and developing an online brand experience for ‘colour my life’.
A crucial requirement was that the website would need to scale in line with the physical development in the future.
How we went about it
We worked with the existing brand guidelines and literature for ‘colour my life’ to make sure we designed a consistent online presence.
We wanted our visitors to go on a journey of ‘Number One First Street’ by creating an interactive space where they could explore.
What we delivered
We created an interactive website which was simple to navigate, yet engaging on exploration. Our focus was on creating a ‘journey’ for the visitor and included interactive maps on how to get to First Street as well as details on the development itself
The production of motion graphic backgrounds are visually stimulating for the visitor and enhance the look and feel.
Additionally, as the development grows we will be able to add the new properties to the website.
How they feel
“We appointed JP74 to build the entire website for ‘Colour My Life’. We wanted to mirror on-line what a groundbreaking development this was going to be in Manchester.
The team at JP74 worked closely with the brand guidelines to create a unique online experience for our visitors’. The website has been fantastically received by both internal stakeholders and prospects alike.
Timings were crucial as the hoardings detailing the web address were about to go up around site and JP74 were on time with the launch to coincide with this.”
