So as the departure of Joanne draws nearer and nearer (at a frightening pace!) we all went out for a meal in her honour. Group opinion led us to Koh Samui Thai Restaurant in Manchester, with a few drinkies before and after. The food was fantastic, and we all had a great laugh, but these things aren't remembered unless someone ends in tears…
This weekend saw another medal haul for one of our designers, Jake Bolton, at the UNJJ JuJitsu competition, spanning several events ranging from fighting through to traditional Kata routines. Ten nations from the United Nations converged on Stanley Park in Blackpool to be graded on kicking seven bells out of each other. Snake's medal haul was as follows; Gold: Random Attacks Silver: Weapons Kata Silver: Team Demonstration Bronze: Open Handed Kata Requests for Snake to brew up are now always followed with a cautious "please", in case of a Random Attack!
